The Automated Trading Championship 2010 is over. For 12 weeks the Expert Advisors of the Automated Trading Championship 2010 Participants have been competing for the prize money. In this struggle, recognized authorities were falling and new heroes were born, newcomers were achieving unexpected success and old-timers were ingloriously completing their ways.
Each of the Participants had the opportunity to test their Expert Advisor in field conditions, without any interference in their operation. Besides the obvious goal to get a cash prize, there was another task: to show what one is able to and to see others' robots. We hope that this Championship will push many EA developers to create more profitable and stable strategies.
However, the current Championship has come to an end, and it's time to bring the final outcome. The ATC 2010 pedestal is as follows:

The first place is taken by the newcomer of the Automated Trading Championship - Boris Odintsov from Russia. His Expert Advisor got featured in the top ten on the first week, and it never left it until the end of the Championship. Until the last moment, it has been fighting for the lead with the Expert Advisor Buter. Despite the unstable trading with the ups and downs, the good amount earned at the beginning of the Championship allowed him to stay in the first place.
The Expert Advisor's Strategy is based on tracking short-term market movements by analyzing the moving average. During the Championship the EA made 141 trades, 54 of which were profitable. His profit factor is 1.15 and the average profit per trade is $479. Boris Odintsov gets the award for "The first place in the Automated Trading Championship 2010" and $40,000 from Interbank FX LLC. Congratulations on the victory, Boris!

Another Russian Participant Andrey Perfilov takes the second place. Since the third trading week, his Expert Advisor did not leave the top ten. And on the last weeks of the Championship, this EA was a serious competitor to bobsley, pretending to win the main prize of the Championship.
During the Championship the Expert Advisor performed 38 transactions, of which 15 were profitable. His profit factor is 1.78, while the average profit per trade is $1354.
This is how the EA's author characterizes his concept: "If you sit long on the river bank, you can see the corpse of your enemy float by". A lot of corpses floated by, but not his main rival. As a result, Andrey Perfilov gets the award for "Second place in the Automated Trading Championship 2010" and $25,000 from MIG Bank. Congratulations, Andrey!
